Do I need a truck or towing experience?

No — that is the whole point of RV Hassle-Free. We deliver the travel trailer to your reserved campsite and set everything up before you arrive. When your trip is over we come back and pick it up. You never need a truck, a hitch, or any towing experience.

What campgrounds do you service near Traverse City?

We deliver to over 10 private campgrounds in the Traverse City and Northern Michigan area, including Timber Ridge, Indigo Bluffs, Holiday Park, Leelanau Pines, and more — all within 35 miles of Traverse City. What is included in the rental?

You get a 29-foot travel trailer with a 14-foot super slide that sleeps 5 comfortably (up to 9 with pullout couch, air mattress, and dinette conversion). It includes a private queen master bedroom, 3 bunk beds, a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, A/C and heating, an outdoor grill, camp chairs, bottled water, s'more fixins, and a fresh loaf of homemade sourdough bread on arrival. Just bring your personal items and groceries. Add-ons like kayaks, a pack-n-play, and shopping assistance are available on request.

How does delivery and setup work?

After you book your dates and campsite, we deliver the trailer to your reserved site and handle all the setup — leveling, hookups, and a walkthrough of the trailer features. Everything is ready before you arrive so you can start enjoying your trip immediately.

What are your full hookup requirements?

Our trailers require a campsite with full hookups — water, electric (minimum 30A), and sewer connections. All of our recommended campgrounds offer full-hookup sites. If you are unsure about your site's hookup situation, just let us know and we'll help you figure it out.

Are pets or smoking allowed?

No smoking and no pets are allowed in the trailer. Children are welcome — the bunkhouse setup is great for kids.

Can I tow the trailer myself?

Accepted Answer

No — this is a delivery-only service. We bring the trailer to your campsite and pick it up when your trip is done. No truck, hitch, or towing experience is needed on your end.

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak summer weekends and holidays in the Traverse City area. Popular dates can fill up quickly, so applying 4 to 8 weeks in advance gives you the best chance of getting your preferred dates. You can /apply — it only takes a few minutes.

Question 9

What are your rental rules?

Accepted Answer

No smoking, no pets, no candles or open flames inside the trailer. Maximum occupancy is 9 guests. Full hookups (water, min 30A electric, sewer) at a private campground are required. For the complete list, see our rental rules and policies at /rules.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation, and the final payment plus a $1,000 refundable security deposit is due 14 days before drop-off. Please contact us directly for cancellation details. The security deposit is returned within 7 days of pickup pending inspection. See full payment terms at /rules.
